How do I find the downloads folder and unzip a file on a Mac computer?

How to Find the Downloads Folder

After your photos have downloaded the folder will automatically save to your computer in your recent downloads. On a Mac, you might be able to find the folder on your dock in the lower right corner:

Alternatively you can select Go > Downloads, or press (Option+Command+L) on your keyboard.

To Unzip

Simply double-click on the zip folder to automatically unzip the file, which will create the unzipped copy in the same destination.

If that isn't working, try right clicking the zip folder (or command click on mac,) then select "open with", and select "archive utility"

This tool should allow you to unzip any file without the need for winzip.
